Children Ceramic Course

A) Chinese Painting (Level 1)

Time: 75 minutes  

Age: 4 - 6 years old

Content:

The aims of our class are to let students understand the painting tools, the basic techniques and the usages of the brush. Students can learn how to “shape” （造形）and how to express the main idea with brush and ink （表現筆墨）.

Students can use use different materials to create the work piece, e.g. brush or sponge.

B) Chinese Painting (Level 2)

Time: 1.5 hrs  

Age: 7 - 11 years old

Content:

The aims of our class are to improve students’ drawing techniques, and student’s sensitivity in observation, logic of thinking, imagination, and to enhance creativity. By improving students’ techniques, including the composition requirements and color application in Chinese Painting.

C) Chinese Painting (Level 3)

Time: 1.5 hrs  

Age: 12 - 18 years old

Content:

The aims of our class are to let students learning in-depth knowledge on drawing skills, the structure of different artworks and different styles on Chinese painting. Through their study on Chinese painting, they could learn more mature presentation techniques and develop their own expression methods. Our class work will focus on creative exercises and apply the drawing skills to their artworks, which can expand their artistic horizons.
